Heart failure
Brief description
In clinical trials to demonstrate the efficacy of heart failure treatments, an end point composed of hospitalization and mortality rates is often considered. Several semiparametric event-time models have been proposed to analyze these end points. In addition to differences in model assumptions, some of these use different information from available trial data. This project will investigate how these differences affect the estimation of treatment effects. The results will contribute to model selection in the evaluation of heart failure clinical trials.
