Analysis of Copernicus satellite data using convolutional neural networks to determine urban structures

Brief description

Important information, such as population density, can be derived from the analysis of urban structures. The aim of the project is to develop an automatic analysis of these structures based on freely available satellite data from the Copernicus earth observation program. For this analysis, the Deep Learning method of Convolutional Neural Networks will be used to classify built-up structures.
